This is the revision of a booklet first published by JBMS in the 1990s,
updated in 2003 by Fr Tim Peacock, who works at a missionart centre in Zimbabwe.
It provides a succinct account of the life of John Bradburne: his childhood in Cumbria,
army life during World War 2, conversion and early years seeking a vocation,
and travels to Rome and Jerusalem. The second half of the booklet tells the story
of his move to missionry work in Africa, his arrival and life at Mutemwa,
culminating in his assassination, funeral, and the first of what would
be many miracles assocted with his name.
